This past weekend was amazing!! My sister Shannon came down to Salt Lake and we had all kinds of adventures!!! We toured Temple Square and the Church History Museum first, then after that we went to the Salt Palace for my work's Bonus Night, then it was off to the Energey Solutions Arena for Coldplay!! The concert was awesome!!! Coldplay played all their fabulous new songs as well as some of their old ones!! I LOVE Coldplay!!!




Since Saturday was also the big U of U vs. BYU football game, they had the game playing on big screens for us to watch at the Salt Palace during Bonus night!!! I must say I thorougly enjoyed watching the Cougars lose!!! GO UTES!!!!




I absolutely love Salt Lake!! There are always so many activities going on and so many fun places to visit that are only like 5 minutes away!!! The University of Utah was definitely the right choice of school for me!! Shannon really wants to come here too!! Hopefully that works out! We would have so much fun living together. We had a blast together this weekend, I can only imagine what college life would be like with her!! :D

What the Weather???

Is anyone else out there confused by the weather?? A few weeks ago, I woke up to a blizzard and freezing temperatures. Now, with December 10 short days away, I'm shedding my jacket and thinking about going and putting on some shorts!!! What is the deal?? Its about time we had some snow if you ask me. How on earth am I supposed to go skiing with the sun blazing down on us like this? That's Utah for ya I guess...

Blackout Game!!!

Last night was the Utah-TCU game!! It was probably one of the best games I've ever been to! Well, at least the 4th quarter was good...that's when all the exciting stuff happened!! Like when TCU missed 2 field goals, and when we scored a touchdown with 48 seconds left to win the game!! AMAZING!!! :D Now Utah is first in the Mountain West Conference, AND we're bowl eligible!!! There's nothing like a Utah game, they're always so fun!! Hopefully we'll win the next two games (one of them being against the team down south) and have another perfect season!! "Fill your lungs and sing it out and shout it to the sky, we'll fight for dear old crimson for a Utah man am I!" GO UTES!!!! :D

Thrilled

This is me being thrilled about the snow...

Blizzard!!

Basically it's been snowing all day...I wouldn't have been too upset by that, except for the fact that the heater in my house was NOT on when I woke up! It hadn't turned on all night either. Apparently, the girls downstairs have been regulating the heat in the basement by turning the furnace (which happens to heat the entire house) on and off whenever they feel like it. Unforunately, they forgot to turn it back ON when we really needed it! So I woke up this morning in a 59 degree house. Not the greatest way to start off the day. But now the heat is on, the sun is coming out, and things are looking up in the life of Nikole :). This is the view from the Trax station looking down my street.

So I was right...

I DID in fact lose interest in the blog thing!! But it didn't take a week...I didn't do anything with it even after that first day! Oh well. Maybe now we'll try again. So since that day in July, life has been good! Summer ended too soon, and I've stayed extremely busy with school and work. I've changed my major at the U...I've decided I don't want to do Exercise and Sports Science anymore, and I think I'm going to try the Medical Laboratory Science route. We'll see how that goes. I'm still working at America First and loving it! My coworkers make it fun for me. I'm really enjoying life and having fun! :) That's all I can ask for I guess. Life is good, and I'm happy!
